Allen T. Allison Elementary School, a 2018 National Blue Ribbon School located in Chester, WV, serves approximately 300students in grades preschool through fourth grade.  A focus on educating students to be "United in Pursuing Excellence' is a priority while becoming a community school.  Key strategies have challenged all students to develop their full potential academically including motivation to be successful.  Allison Elementary School offers many excellent programs and incentives for students while striving to focus on family communication and involvement as a precedence.  Cooperative learning is established where problem-based learning and explicit instruction is guided when working to meet performance tasks.  Because of research-based decisions made to impact students, Allison Elementary School takes pride in being a high performing school.
